A new masterpiece was created in collaboration with veteran piano tuner NOBUMI MURAKAMI.
While inheriting the design of existing piano chairs NOBUMI MURAKAMI, who has tuned many pianos, combined his opinions with Meiyo Woodworking’s technology.
It is a chair that makes piano playing easier and more enjoyable.

長年親しんだピアノ椅子。昔からピアノ椅子のデザインといえばコレです。
このデザインは50年以上も前から変わらない、基本性能に優れたデザインだからでしょう。
ピアノも150年以上、デザインが変わりません。「高低自在椅子」という名の通り、上下12cmを自由に、瞬時に調整できる。
ただ唯一の難点は、「座り心地が硬い」私自身も調律時に座るも「硬い！」「お尻が痛くなる！」「疲れる！」という感想を持ちます。
この問題に真摯に取り組んでくださったピアノ椅子作り職人の名陽木工の橋口氏と、この長年の思いを語り合い、ピアノ椅子の常識を超えたDOLCEの完成に至りました。
